Codeless Recorder

The Codeless Recorder lets you create Website Scenario tests by interacting with your website in a real browser streamed from the cloud. You do not need to install anything on your computer, prepare a local environment, or add a browser plugin to start recording.

Instead of writing automation scripts, maintaining selectors by hand, or building a QA framework from scratch, you simply perform the actions you want to test - click, type, navigate, submit - and TestCLIX records them as repeatable test steps. Because the recorder runs remotely, teams can start using it immediately without desktop tools, browser extensions, or automation plugins.

The recorder is designed to reduce the cost of testing while making monitoring accessible to non-developers.

  • Lower QA cost: business teams can define and maintain important monitoring flows without relying on engineering time for every test.
  • Faster feedback: critical journeys can be recorded once and then replayed automatically after every release or on a schedule.
  • Shared visibility: business owners and product teams can independently verify whether promised flows actually work in production.
  • Automates manual checks: teams can turn repetitive browser checks that were previously hard to automate and often done by hand into repeatable monitoring flows.
  • Less code maintenance: you avoid the ongoing overhead of building and maintaining traditional browser automation scripts for many common checks.

The recorder is especially useful when the people who know the business flow best are not the people writing code.

  • Business owners: validate checkout, signup, lead generation, or account flows without learning test automation.
  • Product managers: confirm that releases support the expected user journey before or after deployment.
  • Marketing teams: monitor landing pages, forms, and conversion paths after content or campaign changes.
  • QA teams: cover more regression scenarios faster and spend less time on repetitive manual verification.

When you start a recording session, TestCLIX launches a browser in the cloud and streams it to your screen.

As you interact with the page, the recorder captures actions such as:

  • clicks,
  • typing,
  • navigation,
  • and changes in page state.

Those actions become a reusable scenario that you can run manually or on a schedule from different locations.

Once a scenario is recorded, it becomes much more than a one-time QA exercise.

This means the recorder is not just a test creation tool - it is the starting point for ongoing production monitoring.

Use the Codeless Recorder when you want to protect flows such as:

  • user login,
  • checkout and payment steps,
  • account registration,
  • lead forms,
  • and admin or dashboard workflows.

These are the paths where a silent breakage can directly affect revenue, support load, or customer trust.
